Denver School Of The Bible (DSB)

We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for spiritual growth and development to the Denver community. The DSB is committed to providing a solid foundation in Biblical knowledge, fostering discipleship, and empowering individuals to impact their churches and communities.

The Spring 2025 semester begins Monday, January 20, 2025. 
Three classes are offered each Monday night beginning at 6:30pm at Victory Baptist Church, Denver, NC.

Participants have the option of taking any or all of the classes offered.

Online or In-Person Enrollment is available.
Fall 2024 Classes are available as Online Classes only for Spring 2025 - There are no prerequisites to any course.

Courses Offered Spring 2025

Methods of Bible Study (Online or In-Person)
Helpful methods to assist believers in personal Bible study.  Students learn principles of biblical interpretation to guide them in understanding different passages of Scripture such as narratives, psalms, proverbs, parables, and prophecy. Students also learn how to use Bible study tools to help them in their study of individual books, chapters, verses, and words. 
Basic Bible Doctrine II (Online or In-Person)
Clear Bible teaching in the subjects of anthropology (the study of man), hamartiology (the study of sin), soteriology (the study of salvation), ecclesiology (the study of the church), and eschatology (the study of end times). Bible answers are given to commonly asked questions concerning the Christian faith. 
Survey of the Old Testament II (Online or In-Person)
A survey of the Books of Poetry (Job through the Song of Solomon), the Major Prophets (Isaiah through Daniel), and the Minor Prophets (Hosea through Malachi) of the Old Testament. The main theme of each book is highlighted along with other significant features including key words, key verses, and pictures of Christ. 
Personal Evangelism (Online Only)
Practical instruction in witnessing to unbelievers and leading them to Jesus Christ. Emphasis is laid on key Bible principles relating to evangelism.  Students are taught how to use their personal testimony in witnessing and how to present the gospel clearly.

Basic Bible Doctrine I (Online Only)

Information

Students
Enrollment is open to men and women who have a sincere desire to know more of God’s Word. No academic prerequisites are in effect. Students come from all types of backgrounds and professions. Enrollment is open to adults of all ages and also to high school students.
Cost
Classes are affordably priced at $50 per class. This cost includes a Student Notebook for each course. For Online Students, the textbook will be emailed for the Student to Print.
There is an optional textbook for each course that is available for purchase through Crown College Bookstore. 
Graduation
Complete all twelve courses and earn a Biblical Studies Certificate!  Graduates of the Denver School of the Bible may participate in the commencement exercises of Crown College. 
Attendance
Students must be present in at least 10 class sessions to receive credit.
